Testosterone dhea cream

I’m 25 and I haven’t had my menstrual cycle in about 4 months. So I went to my doctor yesterday who did some labs and the only abnormality was my testosterone level which was low at a 28. I had no idea. I’ve been experiencing extreme fatigue, difficulty with weight loss, depression and no libido. Knock on wood I don’t also get the hair loss.
My doctor didn’t really say anything about it other then giving me a pill to try for 7 days to see if I get my menstrual cycle.
Should I be worried? What should I do?
Someone mentioned protein, does that help?

Intraocular pressure, glaucoma
Have you heard of DHEA causing high IOP (intraocular pressure) or possibly temporary glaucoma. I have been taking DHEA for about a year. I like the benefits it has provided both physically and mentally. However my last flight physical for the military showed me having high IOP in both eyes. Two days after I stopped taking DHEA my pressures where back to normal.
I have not heard of this side effect yet, and I have not seen it mentioned in the medical literature, however it is a possibility to consider. There's a lot we don't know about the long term effects of DHEA. If your IOP is increased again after restarting the DHEA and then returns to normal after stopping, then that would make it quite likely that in your case it was involved.

This is a common problem with pellets. If you go looking for forums on the matter, you will see that it is rather typical for patients to have a similar response somewhere around the 4th and 5th implantation. This stems from poor oversight/management, and design flaws in the pellets themselves. Keep in mind that all pellets are made the same way. This may seem beneficial at first glance, however, what this really means is that “6 months” worth of medication dissolves in a way that sends your levels far too high in the first month, and then plummeting far too fast and low in the next 2-3.

I'm 47 and I have a 7 year old boy and I work full time and I'm going through perimenopause and all these things have definitely affected my sex drive. The gyn gave me some of those creams but I didn't like how they made me feel - like I had PMS. I go to acupuncture for everything and I haven't had PMS in 15 years so getting it again wasn't fun. My acupuncturist is a medical doctor and she works on fertility issues so I mentioned this problem to her. She said she could help me and she did. I have to go back every 2 or 3 months for a boost but it worked! If you're open to acupuncture I think it works wonders!
